Diana and Brooke

Sorry for not getting these to you sooner! We got home later than expected on Sunday and we were in Galveston for most of the day yesterday. Things are going great with Diego - we ADORE him!!! He's such a sweetheart and a lot of fun. The kids are spending all of their time with him and he loves to play. He's really come out of his shell - and is adjusting very well. He's no longer hissing when he sees the dogs, which we're taking as a good sign. Our mutt (Tucker) is still pretty interested, but is a bit nervous with the hissing so he's keeping his distance (another good thing). There's no doubt in my mind that Diego will be spoiled rotten, as he should be! He sleeps in bed with my husband and I (usually right on top of my head or on my chest) and continues to wake us us around 3am to play (ugh) and then again at 6am to eat/potty, etc. The kids want him to sleep with them, but he wants no part of that right now- he thinks they are his play buddies and gets wound up whenever he's with them - it's cute! He sees his sister (now named Sadie) every day - they spent the day together yesterday here at my house while we were in Galveston! I think the fact that he has her is so wonderful and they really enjoy their time together romping and sleeping cuddled up. Sadie is doing great, as well, and is determined to soon be the boss of the house! I don't think I've ever heard a more vocal cat!! She's precious and the Weir's are absolutely in love with her.

Thank you so much for these two special kitties! We'll continue to keep in touch and let you know when they are spayed/neutered and get you copies of those documents. We'll also try to send pictures from time to time.... don't hesitate to send an email to remind me! :-)

Many Thanks!!!
Cate
Hello Diana & Mary,

I wanted to let you know that we are doing great with the new precious additions to our family. The boys are just head over heels with these babies and Dad & I are right behind them :)

We already have a spay/neuter appointment with Dr. Garner in August and will follow up with their shots as well.

Thanks so much for what you do, it really is worth while when you see how happy they are here!
